Oh. My. God. Not only is this game fun, it's one of the most fun I had with my friends in a while! Basically, it's real-time Worms without the strategy. The gameplay is solid for the most part. It's kinda difficult and slow to navigate on land (even with the added jump and roll abilities) but what really makes this game fun is the jetpack flying. It's amazingly satisfying when a shot lands on one of your friends zipping and zooming around the map! The game doesn't look like much, but it's so much fun for just a buck. The cheap art style gives this game a certain charm too. I'd really recommend this game to anyone who has friends and a couple of xbox controllers!. Despite the low price this game is actually amazing fun! I've played a few (long) sessions now with friends so can give a lowdown on what you can expect:Pros1. Great fun to play with friends (funny moments with all the randomness)2. Loads of gamemodes and options (nuke dogfight it the best!! basically jetpacks with 1 hit kills :D )3. Funny soundtracks and character voices - fun to say something like ohh nnooo as a nuke about to land on your head :)4. The online mode actually works really well, haven't noticed any issues although have been playing mostly offline\/couch. It supports up to 6 players at once! (offline its up to 4)5. Survival mode is just plain crazy. A plane drops a million mines from above and you have to make tunnels and hide6. There's actually quite a bit of depth to the strategy but is also quite easy to learn the basics tooCons1. Multiplayer only2. Requires two or more Xinput controllers (i.e., Xbox 360 compatible)3. Level generator gets a bit tedious (but you can turn it off in the options, so not really a big problem)Overall, I would really reccomend this game if you have at least a couple of xinput controllers available and a few friends who love to play silly multiplayer games. Where is the making button.Or how about button to play the 70 levels with Computers.I will take this down after the stuff that was said on the buying is added. Until then, This is a scam 1 out of 10 stars!. So, You want to buy RoboCritters?-Do you have a local group of 8 friends?-Do you have up to 8 Controllers?-Do you like paying money for a game that has "online," (but not really?)Then RoboCritters, Is the game for you!I purchased 2 copies of this game, and will be requesting a refund for both games. The "online play," doesn't work. For those of you who argue, "The online clearly says BETA."That's true. Although i have the feeling the "BETA" tag is to save the devs any kind of scrutiny when their product doesn't work. Don't advertise your came can play online if it can't. Maybe if the devs actually make their game work ill buy it again.0\/10 - couldn't even mess around by myself locally. meaning i can't even judge the gameplay.
